Vintage Sterling Southwestern Onyx Earrings, Pierced - new hook posts added.  These are 1.75" long and between 3/8" and 1/2" wide, with a raised bezel-set teardrop shaped onyx.  They have a grooved design on the base of the earrings.  They had a broken hook clasp which I replaced with two new sterling hook clasps that are not shown in the photos.  Weight is 3.18 grams.  They are signed SU .925 and tested.  They are now in good to very good condition other than the tarnish on the lower part of the earrings - that can be polished to look new however I do not automatically polish them as many buyers want them as is.  The new posts have been added are shiny and are also sterling.  These came from a PA estate.
