Vintage Sterling Southwestern Sandcast Turquoise Buckle, Signed EL. Old Pawn style Navajo buckle with a sunburst design, sandcast and a large green turquoise bezel-set stone that is appx. 44mm by 29mm. There is an indented area at the one side of the stone - unsure if it was made that way and the pressed in when the stone was damaged or if it was made that way. The stone looks aged at the area where it is indented and was possibly made that way , The belt opening is for a 1.5" belt. The buckle is appx. 3.5" by 2.25". Weight is appx. 101.91gr, tested too. Signed EL with sterling under the letters. Age is estimated at 1950's-1960's. Very good condition other than the stone as mentioned . Turquoise is believed to be Royston, it's a deep green and lighter green with blue/green areas and brown. (INV.W82121.6X8 SS5538 J MV LD 8/25/21).
