Sterling Southwestern Skull Head Brooch signed Kit Carson.  This jewelry/artist is out of Arizona.  He started in appx. 1974 and continues today.  The date of this is not known for certain, but estimated at late 1900's.  His jewelry pieces have great detail and are considered pieces of art.  This is a southwestern skull head in sterling silver.  It is marked sterling and signed with the Kit Carson name.  It is appx. 1.75" wide at the  horns and appx. 1-1/8" tall.  Weight is 5.36 grams. It is not a flat brooch but had a slightly domed design as well.  I have seen this pin listed in other venues up to $150.00. This is in excellent condition and has a great look.
