Vintage beauty of a faux opal ring, appears to be a Slocum Opal which is a manufactured opal but very nice it is oval and domed nicely The stone is 3/4" long and 1/2" wide and the ring it itself is 1" long and 3/4" wide.  It is tiered with a frame of rhinestones or CZs, It has an ornate base level and gives it a Southwestern look and a stamped band - is signed sterling and MA.  Weight of the ring is 6.93 grams.  It does have some wear on the stone top but still nice.  The undercarriage of the ring is elaborate in the design - it has a welled like selling that is contoured to the finger. See Photos.
